Who We Are

Immigrants & Minorities Unify Services Association (IMUSA) is a nonprofit organization based in Atlantic City, NJ. Established in 2012, IMUSA is dedicated to addressing social challenges faced by immigrant and minority communities through education, advocacy, and direct assistance. Our efforts focus on bridging language, cultural, and systemic barriers to create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

Mission Statement

Implement government projects and outreach programs for solving intractable social issues. Focus on long-term goals to provide efficient public education and assistance services to fulfill individuals and families’ urgent needs regardless of their race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age or disability.

To create connected and inclusive communities where all immigrant and minority residents thrive.

History

IMUSA’s roots trace back to volunteer efforts in 2006, when dedicated individuals began offering assistance to immigrant Asian communities in Atlantic City. These grassroots efforts evolved into a formal organization in 2012, reflecting the growing demand for services and the desire to create a lasting impact. Over the years, IMUSA has expanded its programs to include translation services, health education workshops, social support, and community-building activities, with an emphasis on serving underserved populations in Atlantic County and across the state of New Jersey.
